The Government of Canada has officially announced the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th, designed in collaboration with Community Foundations of Canada and its network of 191 community foundations across the country. The Fund will provide thousands of small grants to local projects that build communities and encourage engagement in Canada’s sesquicentennial.
“We’re excited that the first community foundations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario have opened grant applications to the Fund, with many more participating throughout 2016 and 2017,” said Laurel Carlton, Director, Leadership Initiatives and Governance with CFC. “GrantBook has been an exceptional partner, steering us in the right direction and building a custom grant management solution using FluidReview that will help us coordinate the inflow of grant applications from across the country.“
